Welcome to LSC3!
My name is Mrs Dines, and I am the teacher in this class. I also have Miss McKay in my team, who is our classroom assistant.
In LSC3, we are mostly a mix of P5, P6 and P7 pupils and we love to play, learn and be active. In class, we use an adapted version of the Northern Ireland National Curriculum, tailored to suit the needs of each individual child.
We’re very lucky to have cooking equipment in our classroom and enjoy a regular cooking slot every Thursday. During these sessions, we learn about kitchen safety and practise important life skills that will help us in the future. We also go swimming every week at the local leisure centre, where we’re taught by our very own swimming teacher.
And one of our favourite parts of the week is football on Wednesdays with DJElite. It’s always great fun and helps us stay fit and active!
We’re really looking forward to supporting and celebrating our pupils as they grow, learn, and flourish throughout the year!
