Welcome to Primary 4!
My name is Miss Haddock and I am the class teacher. This year we will be exploring our learning through our exciting topics.
In Term 1 our learning will be based on Mighty Me. We will celebrate what makes us unique. and delve into the fascinating world of the human body.
In Term 2 we will consider where we are in the world and learn all about the United Kingdom. This will lead onto learning about World War 2. Children always look forward to our ‘Evacuee Day’.
In Term 3, we will travel (metaphorically of course) to Africa and immerse ourselves in the fascinating culture and impressive geography of the continent.
The Accelerated Reader programme begins in Primary 4 and children continue this through to Primary 7. Our year group also get to take part in many of the extra-curricular activities our school offers. Some of these include: choir, hockey, football, art, board games, coding and Lego.
